Recognized as one of the best and most historic Barolo houses and the most important landowner of Barolo’s greatest crus.  Viticultural beginnings date back to the 1700’s, and Oddero’s first bottle was released in 1878.  Oddero’s 35 hectares include but are not limited to Bussia in Monforte d’alba, Brunate in La Morra, Vigna Rionda in Serralunga, Villero in Castiglinone Falletto, and Gallina in Neive.  The La Morra estate is currently run by the fifth and sixth generations: Giacomo Oddero and his daughters, Mariavittoria and Mariacristina.  Oddero is currently in the process of converting its vineyards to certified organic.
