We are pleased to annonce that we will be offering Wine Classes in the Fall of 2011 at our new location.
Series of classes will emcompass numerous topics including the major winemaking regions of the world, viticulture, grape varieties, wine production, tasting techniques & much more. The classes will be suited for the beginner/novice who would like to be introduced to the world of wine & to the consumate oenophile interested in acquiring more knowledge . Each session is meant to be educational, interactive, enjoyable & convivial. Every Wednesday evening from 7pm to 8.30pm, limited to 20 attendees per class.
WINE 101 FOR BEGINNERS
August 10th – History of Wine & Wines from around the world.
September 7th – White Wine from around the world.
September 21th – Red Wine from around the world.
October 19th – Everything you want to know but forgot to ask!
$40/per class – $120 for the series of 4 classes
IN DEPTH WINE SERIES
August 17th – Chardonnay & Pinot Noir from around the world
September 14th – Champagne & Sparkling wine
September 28th – Food & Wine Pairing for Seasonal Flavors
October 26th – Cabernet Sauvignon from around the world
$50/per class – $160 for the series of 4 classes
Each class with be conducted by Mr. Eric Crane, CSW
Eric Crane is an Advanced Sommelier with the Court of Master
Sommeliers and a Certified Wine Educator with the Society of Wine
Educators. He is the Director of Training and Business Development for
Empire Distributors. In 2010 Eric placed third in the Top Somm:
America’s Best Sommelier regional competition and advanced to the
regional finals of the competition in 2011.
