Fresh New Arrivals DIRECT from Bordeaux!!

This past April we made our annual trek to Bordeaux to taste the 2015 vintage barrel samples as well as hunt down great values from top appellations of the region.  This is the first round of many new arrivals that will be delivered in the coming months as we gear up for the holiday season.  Take advantage of these excellent buys from prominent appellations like Pomerol, Pauillac, Margaux and Pessac-Leognan while supplies last!

2014 Chateau Haut-Vigneau (Pessac-Leognan) $19.99*

Winemaking at Haut-Vigneau is based on a great respect for its grapes (60% Cabernet Sauvignon and 40% Merlot) and terroir (deep Garonnaise gravel), together with careful and traditional aging (in 20% new barrels). The result is a wine with very pleasing aromas of black fruit (blackberries, black currant) and subtle roasted notes (grilled and smoky).  Excellent everyday quaffer.

2012 Chateau Larrieu-Terrefort (Margaux) $29.99*

Deep ruby in color, perfumed and floral, particularly with notes of violets and lilacs with soft, silky tannins. Quite refined and elegant a textbook Margaux and an absolute bargain!

2010 Chateau La Croix Du Casse (Pomerol) $49.99*

Intense purple color. Soft, round, rich and velvety. This medium to full bodied wine serves up fresh plum, dark cherry and espresso notes.  2010 is a legendary Bordeaux vintage and Pomerol’s at this price are very hard to find!

2009 Chateau Pibran (Pauillac) $49.99*

This forward lush wine serves up a nose of espresso bean, blackberry, cocoa and cassis on the nose. The fruit is fresh, the wine has a nice roundness to texture, ending with excellent fruit purity and hints of gravel.  Great vintage Pauillac for only $49.99 is a steal of a deal!
