Last evening Sherlock’s and the Atlanta chapter of the Commanderie de Bordeaux were honored to host Aurelien Valance of Chateau Margaux at 103 West for what was aptly named “A dinner for the next generation.”  With the popularity of Bordeaux wines waning amongst the younger generation of US wine drinkers, Aurelien was kind enough to visit Atlanta not only to promote the wines of Chateau Margaux but also the unique singularity of Bordeaux wines in general.  Needless to say the wines were beyond impressive and everyone really semed to relish the opportunity to experience various vintages of Chateau Margaux as well as the 2nd label Pavillon Rouge and the rare Pavillon Blanc.
