2005 Schloss Schonborn Erbacher Marcobrunn

Rheingau Riesling Spatlese

Wine Spectator 88 Points An opulent spätlese, with a lush, mouthcoating texture framing its peach, sweet corn, vanilla pastry and lemon notes. It’s firm in structure, with the acidity emerging on the finish.

2008 Gerard & Pierre Morin Sancerre “Chene Marchand”

 Loire Valley – France

Wine Spectator 88 Points Bright and bracing for the vintage, displaying a lively mix of citrus peel, pippin apple and straw notes that stay defined through the lightly tangy finish.

2008 Bon Anno Cab. Sauv.
Napa Valley – California

Winemaker’s Notes A deep ruby red, this seductive red shows classic Cabernet Sauvignon aromas of spice and sage followed by a mix of blueberries and blackberries with fresh raspberry notes. A nice balance os acid and well integrated tannins, this wine is smooth, supple and sleek on the palate. Well balanced with loads of currant and hints of mineral and anise on the finish.

2009 Domaine Grand Nicolet V.V.

Rasteau – Rhone Valley

Robert Parker 90-92 Points The 2009 Cotes du Rhone-Villages Rasteau Vieilles Vignes, which comes from 60-year-old Grenache vines (70%) and 30-year-old Syrah vines (30% of the blend) from the blue marl and red and yellow clay soils of the appellation. The Grenache is aged in cement tanks and the Syrah in barrels. Yields were a tiny 27 hectoliters per hectare. The wine exhibits an inky/purple color followed by notes of creosote, camphor, melted chocolate, ripe strawberry and cherry marmalade, plums, licorice and burning embers. It is a dense, fat, chewy, full-bodied Rasteau.
