There’s Nothing Like a Perfectly Mature Bordeaux to Pair with your Summertime Grill Feast!

We travel to Bordeaux every April to taste the current vintage barrel samples but also aged wines in bottle. This particular wine really stood out for its classic taste profile. Also it’s from a great vintage and ready to drink with silky soft tannins.

The property was purchased by the owners of Chateau Haut-Brion a few years ago and changed the name so this is also a collector’s item!

2000 Chateau L’Arrosee $89.99*

Saint-Emilion Grand Cru Classe

Tasting Notes From the spectacular 2000 vintage, the L’Arrosée is now at a phase which is “aged to perfection.” A still dark but tawny color on the rim, very attractive aromatics of black cherries, smoked meats, charcuterie, and even a touch of paprika spices, along with notes of coffee and the tell-tale leathery note of development in red wines. If you want a wine that is perfectly mature to enjoy tonight with a special dinner, this is it.
